FOG OF DEATH
My Father, Robert Zuege, passed away at the end of January 2019, and his funeral followed soon after. It was a dreadfully sad time for me, and Mother Nature seemed to understand my mourning.
Following a Polar Vortex that saw temperatures dip in the Midwest below -60, the coldest days in decades, a warm front moved into the area, flipping the temperature 80 degrees in a matter of days.
My Father's funeral was a foggy, muddy event in early February in Wisconsin. Normally a frigid and inhumane time to be outside in Wisconsin, the warm temperatures forced fast melting and created an endless and obscurious mist.
An appropriate backdrop for his passing.
Thanks for visiting. Yours truly,
